This page explains what data the site “Neverending Journey” (pateshestvia.net) collects, what it is used for, and how you can opt out.
Who is responsible
Veneta Nikolova, creator of the blog. For any question about your personal data write to nikolova.neti@gmail.com.
Visitor statistics (only with your consent)
If you click “Accept” in the cookie bar, the site uses Google Analytics to understand which articles are read, where visitors come from and how the site is used (for example which links are clicked and how far an article is read). Google Analytics stores cookies on your device and collects data such as pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location (country and city), the source of the visit and the time spent on a page. The data contain no name or email address and are not used to identify you. Google processes the data on my behalf.
If you click “Decline” or make no choice, no statistics cookies are stored. Google may receive only an anonymous signal that a page was visited, without cookies and without data that identify you.
You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. The choice is kept in your browser for one year (cookie “pv_consent”).
Other services on the site
- YouTube videos. A video is a picture with a play button; the YouTube player (and its cookies) is loaded only after you start it. Links to YouTube, Facebook and Instagram take you to those sites, which have their own rules.
- Contact form. What you type (name, email, message) is sent to my email and used only to reply to you.
- Comments. A comment stores your name, email and message. The name and the comment are shown on the site.
- Google Search. The site receives summary data from Google Search Console (for example which words found it), with no data about individual visitors.
Your rights
You may ask for access to your data, correction or deletion, object to processing and withdraw your consent. Write to me at the address above. You may also complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (www.cpdp.bg) or to the authority in your own country.
